If stress has become a regular addition to your life then it's time to take control of it rather than it having control over you.
Stress and Anxiety are prevalent in our Society and understandably so with so much pressure to DO so much and BE everything for everyone. Times are definitely changing and along with that our levels of Stress and Anxiety are on the rise.
Do you wake up feeling anxious before you have even got out of bed? Do you feel that certain situations trigger your Stress & Anxiety more than others?
Experiencing the physical sensations that go along with feeling stressed and anxious can exacerbate the problem because we then fear that others notice something is going on with us. For the majority of the time it is an issue that can remain hidden to the outside world, however, it doesn't need to be because it is nothing to feel ashamed of.
Don't worry because I hear you, I WAS you. I suffered for years but can tell you that you don't have to continue to struggle with feeling this way. You don't have to hide away in order to protect yourself.
There are many ways to work through this.
I believe there are various factors that come into play when it comes to Stress & Anxiety. There can be more to it than what we think.
We can be sensitive to the energy of our surroundings - Other people and the environment.
We are not living our purpose - Dissatisfied with our current work situation.
We are out of alignment in some area of our life - Eg. Relationship, Work, Living Arrangements etc
We are people pleasers never wanting to say 'No' to others - We push ourselves to the limit to make others happy regardless of the effect it has on our own well-being to avoid confrontation or hurting other people's feelings. On the times we do say 'No' the guilt and worry surrounding that can be far worse than the initial stress.
We are perfectionists, so we place far too much pressure on ourselves to have everything we do be perfect - Are you your own worst enemy when it comes to nothing ever being good enough?
We struggle with issues around self worth - We don't feel we deserve the happiness that comes from listening to our Intuition (our gut feeling) about what we want to do and what we need to do in order to receive it. We don't practice self care and always put the needs of others before our own. This behaviour just reinforces the message that we don't deserve any better.
We may become triggered by situations that we have brought through from a previous lifetime and are being made aware of these triggers in order to heal them.
The good news is there are many ways to turn this around, reduce or completely remove the grip that Stress & Anxiety have on you - Meditation - Energy Healing - Relaxation - Goals
